OfficeMetrics ClientWin32 Windows service. Designed for Windows 2000 and Windows XP Professional. OfficeMetrics client is installed on each user's computer. It has no graphical user interface and requires no user intervention. It uses many plug-ins to determine the user's current activity, including plug-ins for Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer, Firefox, Adobe applications, Instant Messaging applications etc. It sends the activity information to the OfficeMetrics server using TCP/IP sockets. It can be installed and upgraded remotely with ease.
OfficeMetrics Server.NET Windows service. Designed for Windows 2000 Server and Windows Server 2003. Requires .NET Framework version 1.1. OfficeMetrics server receives employee activity information from the OfficeMetrics clients and saves it in the OfficeMetrics database using ODBC. OfficeMetrics Web ApplicationASP.NET Web Application. Designed for Windows 2000 Server and Windows Server 2003. Requires .NET Framework version 1.1. Requires Internet Information Services 5+ (IIS).
The OfficeMetrics Web Application is an ASP.NET application. It provides the web interface that allows employees and their managers to view their activity history and statistics. It reads the activity information from the system database using ODBC.
